I’ve fallen more and more for the peplum trend. It started last fall when I bought a green peplum top at H&M. Back then I wasn’t too sure if I liked this type of silhouette seing as I already have a curvy figure. This season the peplum trend has pretty much taken over so I’ve had the opportunity to get inspiration from blogs and magazines. To avoid adding too much volume to the thighs I try not to wear two peplum items at the same time. So if I’m wearing a peplum top I wear it to a narrow and preferably longer skirt (to elongate the legs and make your lower body look slimmer) and if I’m wearing a peplum skirt I wear it to a causual top or blouse. Wearing a thin belt around the waist is a good way to accentuate a feminine figure.

This is me on Sweden’s national day! It had been raining during the day but by the time we got to Stockholm the sky cleared and the sun came out. When the weather is right I love Sweden and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! I was especially thrilled to find this brew leading out to the water, it looked so beautiful in its lonelyness. It was like it was calling for me :)
